- In this application we have a sender and receiver. SO what receiver and sender does is sender will be sending a message and we need a broker in between who can take my message that is a piece of information pass it on to the network to the receiver. - It doesn’t matter where the applications are, in an application we have a producer, producer goes to the middle ware that is the MQ and it sends the message to the queue and receiver. This is a typical java application which has 3 major parts, the message oriented middleware. Sender can become a receiver and receiver can become sender also. Sender will send the request and Receiver will send back the response. Sender and receiver are not fixed roles.
- JMS is used for sending messages between application components, and the Java API is for sending an actual email. JMS components are basically the provider itself, the message oriented middleware that implements JMS in addition to other administrative and control functionality require a full featured messaging product like IBM MQ, Active MQ there are lots of other middleware as well. It is an agent in between who takes the messages and who sends the message across like a postoffice.
- JMS Clients is responsible for producing or receiving the messages. There are infact 4 types of JMS clients. It can be segregated in two types for senders producers and publishers and there are two other types of JMS clients which are receivers Consumer and subscriber. The JMS application is composed of many JMS clients and typically one JMS provider. The combination of JMS client and provider creates a JMS application system.
